NAFA presents a one-on-one conversation in its September 2018 issue of FLEETSolutions magazine with Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.), Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. Graves is a proponent of Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT), a funding mechanism that charges drivers according to how many miles the vehicle has traveled, as opposed to current point-of-purchase fuel taxes. His proposal intends to provide financial stability for the Highway Trust Fund (HTF).
